Sally & Ali are life-long friends who grew up in the country near Ada, MN. Their homes were about a mile apart, and since they lived in the country, that pretty much means they were next-door neighbors.

After graduating from Ada-Borup High School, they both went on to college and eventually entered the real world. But the real world isn’t always fun. And they like fun. So they decided to spice things up a bit. They’re using their God-given talents to produce children’s books. Sally’s words and Ali’s art combine to help teach kids about this crazy world…one story at a time.

Sally Erickson

Sally Erickson holds degrees in Business and English Writing from Concordia College in Moorhead, MN. She’s spent most of her career as a technical writer in the software industry.

Her most important title is Mom. She and her son, Luke, play with tractors, dig in the dirt, and watch episodes of Mighty Machines on YouTube. They live in Kindred, ND.

Ali Holley

Ali Holley is a licensed counselor and art therapist working in the field of Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health.  She regularly uses books and art as she supports families in learning and growing.

When not at work, she enjoys time with her husband, son, as well as her large extended family in northern Minnesota.  Making art, repurposing thrift store finds, walking in the woods, being on the water, or playing a round of golf are other loved activities.
